Underwear - my experience
My underwear-verdict is short and absolute: synthetic boxer, other underwear Merino-wool. Not a blend - just pure Merino. Not a shred of cotton anywhere.
The Merino has the advance of no-smelling. Meaning, that one does not need to carry extra underwear, just to spare the companions the odor of old sweat stink - which synthetic underwear produces so easily.
